Offroad racing in Sydney is conducted at our own offroad complex 3 or 4 times a year, and incorporates our Club Championship.  The fight for SORRA Club Champion is spread over 5 events per year, 2 of which are at other venues at Crookwell near Goulburn, and Milbrodale near Singleton. The Calendar page lists all our events. SORRA holds one round of the NSW Offroad Championship each year at our track which attracts competitors from all over New South Wales.

SORRA's offroad complex is located on the Putty Road, 61km north of the Windsor bridge.  The complex utilises 2 main circuits, one short track of approx 5km in length, and one long track of approx 7.5km in length.  The track surface is a combination of dirt and sand with some wide open straights and some tight forest sections.  Not to mention of course plenty of opportunities to get some serious air, especially on the big jump on the main straight!

The offroad complex also incorporates a variety of different tracks including the smooth "giddy giddy" circuit for rally type cars, and some serious 4WD tracks used by some Sydney based 4WD clubs for their various 4WD'ing weekends.

Amenities are provided at the track including a kiosk and shower facilities.  Of course camping in the paddock area is encouraged.  Spectator seating is provided adjacent to the biggest jump on the track with a clear view of the pit area in front.

The club's committee meet at 8pm on the 4th Wednesday of every month  in the McCredie room at Guildford Leagues Club in Sydney's west.  All club members are encouraged to come along and participate in the running of their club.
