Mantis 165 is the new buggy under construction by Boyd Racing's Ian Boyd in the Hills District Tyres workshop.  

Ian is the current SORRA Pentathlon holder.  Ian's had a huge run of success in his recently sold class 1 hornet over the past 5 years, including being crowned Club Champion 3 years running in '99, '00 and '01.

The A-Armed Mantis 165 will run either a turboed or supercharged SR20 running through to a Porsche transaxle. Construction is already steaming ahead a full noise in what will prove to be a great weapon of choice for our 3 times club champion.
