THE BEAST Lia's Hornet OZ TRUCK P. Hughes T6000 Kelvin's! Tori's Truggy Porsche! Mantis 165 The Wolf The P76

Mick Tori currently has this class 9 truggy under construction.  After finishing and racing his class 5 lancer (and after a complete rear-end redesign and rebuild after the roll over at Colo) with some success he's decided its time for more suspension... something that had reached its limit in the Lancer...

The Truggy's specs are:

Front end:  Hubs come off a Mazda Bravo 4wd with 12" bilstein coilovers per corner with approx 16" travel.
Rear end:  Diff is from a Nissan GQ Patrol
Motor: the 2.6 motor from the lancer (Rick's been in that car... its a very strong engine)
Gearbox:  Mitsubishi L300 5 speed

There are still some details yet to work out, steering (Ford probably) and some other points.  Mick hopes to have it up and running by the end of the year.
